A world moves between machines. Authority does not travel with it. A restored world on a second machine is not the first machine wearing its clothes — it is a new machine that has been granted the world, and the grant is a separate act that can be refused.
That distinction is the whole product, and it is why the sync-and-restore round ships before the hosted-compute round. A machine we rent you proves nothing that a machine you already own does not prove better.
A world is bigger than you think, and the interesting part is free
"World" gets used for two things whose sizes differ by four orders of magnitude, so here both have their own name and neither borrows the other's.

Measured, not estimated: the graph is 0.21% of a 100 GB backup at its enforced ceiling, and 0.0002% in ordinary use. So the differentiated part — the provenance, the tracks, the history of every attempt — rides along nearly free inside a tier priced for the bulk. You pay for the machine-sized state; the WRL graph beside it costs almost nothing to carry.
